With just one month until Christmas, have you been naughty or nice this year?

Naughty Nice List 2017 (3)

Every year we launch our ‘Draft Naughty and Nice Name List’ to announce out which names are at the top of Santa’s list, and give plenty of notice to those which have to be good all December!

This year we have found that Freya and Ryan are the names most likely to be at the top of Santa’s ‘nice list’ this Christmas as children with these names are the most likely to be well behaved.

Boys called Noah, and girls called Faye, are more likely to be at the top of Santa’s naughty list, however as this is only the ‘draft’ list kids still have a month to improve their behaviour before Christmas.

We provide more than 10,000 schools with stickers, postcards and certificates which teachers give pupils for good behaviour and achievement. To enable teachers, pupils and parents to track the rewards given, some schools give out coded rewards which pupils log online at www.MyStickers.co.uk, and others give out virtual rewards which are automatically recorded. Last school year, 52,000 students received over 600,000 rewards. Analysis on the data reveals which names were awarded the most stickers – the nicest – and which were awarded the least – the naughtiest!

The annual study revealed that boys called Ryan, Lewis, Jacob, Alfie and Jamie are the most likely to receive School Sticker’s rewards (for good behaviour in the classroom), but boys called Noah, Riley, Robert, Freddie and Leo, received the least number of rewards.

Mums and dads are more likely to have an easier time if they have a daughter called Freya, Isabella, Caitlin, Georgia and Leah, all names at the top of the School Stickers reward ‘league’. But if their little girl is named Faye, Lilly, Milly, Annabel and Maddie, they could have trouble on their hands!

Neil Hodges, Managing Director, School Stickers said, “Our ‘Santa’s Naughty and Nice list’ is just a bit of Christmas fun which we launch every year as many people find it amusing to see if their name is on there. However all schools reward differently, with some giving out hundreds, and some thousands of rewards, so there is about as much sense in this study in it as if Rudolf had written it.”

Hodges continues, “There are many Faye’s and Noah’s that are perfect little angels, and plenty of Freya’s and Ryan’s who Santa is watching! School Stickers is trusted by thousands of schools to reward pupils for good behaviour and achievement. We’re proud that our products motivate and inspire young people, whatever their names!”
